In this comprehensive course, you will embark on a transformative journey into fundraising and donor development for nonprofits. Designed for both seasoned professionals and newcomers, this course will provide you with a thorough understanding of fundraising strategies, donor cultivation techniques, and principles of donor stewardship as well as the skills to implement them effectively.
Throughout the course, you will engage in practical assignments applicable to your current nonprofit role or future aspirations. These assignments reinforce learning by allowing you to develop and test real-world fundraising plans, enhancing your ability to attract and retain donors. If you're not currently in a nonprofit role, you can conceptualize strategies for an imagined or existing nonprofit.
This course will deepen your knowledge and empower you to take on leadership roles in nonprofit organizations with confidence by applying your newfound expertise in crafting compelling campaigns, building and nurturing donor relationships, and employing innovative approaches to secure funding.
Course Format
Instructor-led week-to-week cadence, with assignments, discussion boards, and learning assessments (quizzes) opening on Monday and to be completed by the end of the week.
